It had been 3 years since i wanted to see this band live, over the past year or more I've been out of touch with the music but was still had the same excitement seeing them for the first time, much like hearing "The Things We Carry" when I was 16. I was surprised as to how much stuff off of the first album they played (most of the songs I know). Every band that played that night were playing to their full potential and the show went over really well. Pat Flyn's words are so insigtful and inspiring. This was the most crowded show I've been to since Gorilla Biscuits reunion back in '06. Was weird seeing so many people that normally never go out to local Toronto shows. Amazing to see what certain bands can draw out crowds from all over the place.
After the final set me and Greg aka Jerry Funk grabbed some Arizona Green Tea's, I drank 2 on my own and headed back to the car for a long awaited, sticky, sweaty ride back home. Could not remember the last time i sweat that hard. My skinny's were even soaked.
