Burden Of Proof were a really great and overlooked NYHC band. I only heard about them recently, reading an older zine "Combat Stance" and was instantly intrigued by their interview. As far as I know they only have one record from '88, a self titled 12", which I recently picked up. They have that bitter, rawness fans of NYHC love so much, and a heavy Oi influence. When I first heard this record, the first thing I thought of was the Sheer Terror demos (which is a great thing.) It's refreshing to know you can still find little gems from this great era of hardcore .
